SGC Kids
The mission of SGC Kids is to provide a safe and exciting environment to point children and their parents to Christ.
On Sundays, children pre-K through fourth grade are welcome to attend SGC Kids where gospel truths are taught through song, stories, skits, object lessons, and activities led by ministry safe certified members of Sovereign Grace Church. Wednesday small groups provide SGC Kids for children through 6th grade.

For parents with infants and toddlers who remain in the service:
If at any point you would like to hear the sermon, but your little one needs to wiggle, cry or play, there is a room furnished with a restroom, changing table, access to the service on TV, a couch, rocking chair and age appropriate books and toys.
For parents with children who remain in the Service on Sundays:
We love to have children in the service and do not mind the accompanying noise that brings. We believe that God loves children and loves to speak to children through His word. It is by His Spirit through the preached word that He speaks and transforms sinners. And even though children may not glean every morsel from the sermon, God has made the preaching of His Scripture a primary means by which people come to know and love the Lord. That said, we do offer materials to aid the children as they listen to God’s word preached. If you would like to talk with someone further about how to equip your children for Sunday worship, feel free to reach out to any SGC member with kids or you can contact Pastor James. Our great desire for SGC Kids is to glorify God by evangelizing, partnering with and equipping parents in their calling to train their children in the knowledge and fear of the Lord. One of the ways that we do this is by providing a curriculum that can be further explored at home as well as complemented by other resources that go along with that week’s lesson.
The curriculum is The Gospel Story Curriculum and has been developed by a fellow Sovereign Grace pastor within our family of churches.
Why Gospel Story for Kids Curriculum and Products?
Because children need help understanding that the Bible is one story with Jesus as the hero, the Gospel Story Curriculum focuses on Christ as it teaches preschool through sixth-grade children key stories from Genesis to Malachi that highlight God’s plan of redemption. This unique 3-year long curriculum grows with children by exploring the same Bible stories at three different learning levels, presenting the material in a fresh way each time to help children grow in their understanding of the Bible. Every year children learn a slightly longer version of each passage. Corresponding materials in The Gospel Story Bible, Old Story New and Long Story Short allow parents to follow up with the same lesson at home. We recognize that we are all in different situations and have different upbringings but one thing remains the same, Jesus is Lord. And as Lord, He declares in Matthew 19:14 , “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
